A very happy birthday to Chandler Parsons who turns 25-years-old on October 25. The 6′ 9″ small forward is entering his third year in the league and is coming off a sophomore campaign where he averaged 15.5 points while shooting 48.6 percent from the field to go along with 5.3 rebounds and 3.5 assists.
He graduated from the University of Florida after staying all four years through college, and was the 38th overall pick by the Houston Rockets in the 2011 draft. In 63 games that season, he averaged 9.5 points and 4.8 rebounds and was named to the All-Rookie Second Team.
Heading into the 2013 – ’14 season, Parsons will play a key role for the Rockets, a team which is now expected to instantly compete for a title due to the acquisition of Dwight Howard to go along with players such as Jeremy Lin, James Harden, and of course, Chandler Parsons.
