After yet another off-court incident, the Phoenix Suns decided to let Michael Beasley go, but are still on the hook for most of his salary after the buyout. Tom Ziller, of SB Nation uses Beasley as an example to push for a greater use of conditional contracts in the NBA. Making more contracts conditional would leave less teams stuck with big money to dole out to undeserving players after they don’t live up to the expectations.
