Brianza residents are preparing to experience another intense, event-filled weekend in the region. The weekend of 18 and 19 November offers several women-focused initiatives, in light of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women on 25 November, but also provides fun opportunities for children, exhibitions and workshops. What to do in Brianza on the weekend: Events in Monza
The program this weekend in Monza is the Felix Film Festival. The date is November 18 and 19 at Casa del Volontariato in Monza. For the 2023 edition, we want to organize an event that can propose a model of peace dialogue that puts culture and people at the centre.
Co-produced films, films from countries of the former Soviet Union, films from Eastern European countries and of course Italian films will also participate in this edition of the festival.
The charity concert is scheduled for Sunday, November 19 at 6pm at the Manzoni Theater (via Manzoni 23).Solidarity notes 2023. Proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to furnish the waiting room in the Department of Radiodiagnostics at the National Cancer Institute in Milan.

In Busnago, the giant bench was inaugurated in memory of Giulia Fabio, the 17-year-old girl who died of cancer last March. With this beautiful symbol, the family of the 17-year-old girl from Bosnago, who passed away last March after a long battle with the disease, decided to keep her memory alive among those who knew and loved her. It was Giulia’s parents and all her loved ones who donated a large green and purple bench, which will be permanently installed inside the Parco degli Alpini on Via Piave. The family’s goal, through this gesture of great symbolic value, is “to promote the idea of happiness by giving space to adults and children to observe life from other points of view, just like Julia, throughout her journey in the fight against the disease, always had.”
The bench will be opened on Saturday 18 November at 2.30pm in the presence of all friends who keep in their hearts the memory of a sunny, smiling and stubborn girl, who loved life more than anything else in the world. I remember that in a few days, he would live forever in one of the busiest parks in the country.
What to do in Caponago
November arrives and it is already “cabbage time.”
Everything is ready in Kabonago for the Cabbage Festival, an initiative promoted by the local Time Bank which will be held next Saturday, November 18 at the Oratory. The festival, now in its seventh edition and now a true fall tradition, will begin at 7:30 p.m. with dinner. During the evening, marked by the collaboration with Pro Loco and the sponsorship of the municipality, it will be possible to taste traditional Brianza dishes, with three different menus (including one for children) to choose from. “ARTEMISIA The Silent Voice” highlights the story of celebrated painter Artemisia Gentileschi, whose voice was often stifled in the patriarchal society of her time, and the silence and oppression that rape victims often faced.
