Traders expressed their appreciation for the quarterly report issued by JPMorgan Chase (+1.5% to $148). The US financial giant ended the third quarter of 2023 with earnings per share of $4.33, compared to the analyst consensus of $3.9.
Oil sector stocks performed wellThis is after the price of crude oil in New York (the contract ends in November 2023) exceeded $87.5 per barrel. Shares of Chevron and Exxon Mobil rose 1.76% and 3.19%, respectively.
But in sharp decline Tesla (-2.99%).
