Russian General Sergei Surovikin, who disappeared from the scene after the Wagner Uprising, has been appointed head of the Air Defense Coordination Committee of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), an organization that includes Russia and eight other former Soviet republics. A wave of drone attacks from Kiev to the Crimea

Kiev came under air attack early this morning, with drone debris falling on several parts of the Ukrainian capital as its air defenses sprang into action.
