Tresano sul Naviglio (October 2, 2023) – More than a decade after the discovery of the architecture of our universe, the Boschetto Neighborhood Committee with Thinking Globally and Acting Locally, Supramarisotto and sponsored by the Municipality of Tresano sul Naviglio, organizes the exhibition “Il Higgs Boson between Art, Science and Transcendence” by Giuseppe Portella and Valerio Grassi , curated by Fortunato D’Amico and Chiara Crosti at the Sala Punto Gallery in Via Vittorio Veneto 30 in Tresano sul Naviglio. The exhibition will be opened on Saturday, October 7 at 6 pm with a concert by the artist Sandra Conti.
“We are very honored to host this exhibition in Trizzano – announced Mayor Fabio Botero and Cultural Councilor Beatrice Ventacoli – that it was designed, created and enriched by the minds of Trizzano who witnessed first-hand the amazing discovery of the Higgs Boson and to whom we thank them for their desire to share their adventure with our community. Thanks to the exhibition and the meetings that will follow, we will have Also the opportunity to immerse yourself in this European and international atmosphere that represents the world of science and, in particular, the path that led to the discovery of the Higgs Boson: the project was attended by twenty European and twenty non-European countries, in which 170 institutes and 3,000 researchers participated, including 600 Italians. Scientifically, it is always necessary to overcome borders, exchange knowledge, and replace the logic of conflict and violence with the logic of confrontation and dialogue, in order to develop freedom and democracy.
