The Línea Directa Foundation studies safe cars for all. An analysis of accidents from a gender perspective (2012-2021) indicates that one in five motorists admits that he insulted a female driver by referring to her gender. A survey included in this study, conducted on 1,700 drivers from all over Spain, indicates that 77% of men believe that there are still many biases against female drivers, a percentage that in the case of women reaches 86%.
