Sponsored by the Municipality of Milan and the Lombardy Region and Maritime, in collaboration with the Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission of UNESCO and many other partners, it is composed of special week of educational events, meetings and workshops, with the aim of enhancing knowledge and educating companies, youth and the general public on issues related to the value of the sea, the blue economy and the water cycle.

Water cycle talk | Meeting – from 14 years old
Sunday 11 June | 4 m | Biancamano Room, Buff. zeppelin | Duration 90 minutes Talk to scientists, biologists and promoters to talk about the importance of water and raise awareness of the need to protect it as a precious and essential asset for life.

Transatlantic Conte Biancamano | Guided tour – from 8 years old
Saturday 10th June at 2.30pm, 3.30pm, 4.30pm and Sunday at 3.30pm, 4.30pm, 5.30pm Aeronaval Flyboard | Duration 45 minutes
We take part in a guided tour of the magnificent bridge of the ocean liner Conte Biancamano launched in 1925. Together with the historical heritage staff, we discover one of the museum’s most exciting objects, a testament to the glorious era of luxury Lines that vied for the blue ribbon for the fastest crossing .

Cruise Stories | Guided tour – from 4 to 6 years old
Saturday and Sunday at 10 and 15.30, pav. zeppelin | Duration 45 minutes Sailboat, ocean liner, catamaran and submarine. But what are they? How do they move at sea? Let’s listen to the stories of explorers and sea dogs to discover different ways of sailing and the history of the most exciting things in the exhibition dedicated to maritime transport.

One Ocean VR – from 12 years old
Saturday and Sunday at 10, 11, 12, 14.30, 15.30, 16.30, 17.30, Sala del Cinacolo | Duration 45 minutes Let’s dive into the world’s first virtual reality water safari park and explore an ocean full of life among dolphins, turtles, whales, manatees and sea lions. Let’s swim to discover the wonders of the sea, and let ourselves be immersed in the ultra-realistic animation thanks to the innovative AI algorithm. For the adventurous: let’s dive into a cage to see a great white shark up close.

Adventures on the ship – from 3 to 6 years
Saturday and Sunday at 11.30, 14 and 17, iLab Viaggi per mare, Pav. zeppelin | Duration 45 minutes Let’s sit in an old caravel, play the role of the crew and plunge into the adventure of a great journey. Let’s explore our ship, the instruments on board and get ready to cross the ocean. Maps, compass, and stars will guide us on our journey, and the commander will guide us in navigation. Stormy seas, seagulls and mice will enliven our cruise.

Leonardo and the Waterways | Guided tour – from 9 years old
Saturday and Sunday at 11.15 and 15.15, Leonardo Galleries, Monumental Building | Duration 45 minutes
Let’s explore Leonardo da Vinci’s personality between art, technology, engineering and science. We know his places of training and the great building sites of Tuscany and Milan in the Renaissance, we discover his way of painting to explore nature and represent his ideas, we observe landscapes and waterways through his studies and the first sketches of rivers and artificial canals of a city like the Navigli.

Saturday and Sunday from 9.30 to 18.30, in a continuous cycle, the Monumental building, let’s discover the collection of plastic objects by designer Angela Ponzini, collected in the summer from 2019 to today in the Ponta Adressi Regional Nature Reserve in Abruzzo and between the beaches of Vasto, Motagrossa and Torre Cinello. “Treasures” of the sea that are preserved and displayed with snapshots taken during the discoveries to reflect the life of plastics in relation to the environment.
