“Negotiations between Moscow and Kiev will certainly take place, but the timing of their development depends on the position of Ukraine’s partners,” referring to the United States and European countries. Senator Sergei Tsikov, a member of the International Affairs Committee of the Russian Federation Council, told TASS. He explained that “the negotiations between Russia and Ukraine will eventually take place – as he specified – but it will be very difficult and very complicated. If it continues to fuel the conflict, there will be no negotiations.”
“Today, it seems unlikely that any result will be achieved after negotiations – because Kyiv is taking an unacceptable position, demanding that Russia return the lost territories and compensation.
We must remember how the special military operation began: disarmament and disarmament issues were not removed from the agenda. ”
