Three international competitions revived by FIBA Summer 2022, Eurobasket, AmeriCup and AsiaCup. Their final results moved the rankings accordingly with Spain, Argentina and Australia winning respectively.
In this order, we find them in the new International Basketball Federation, which was immediately preceded by the United States of America and followed by France in fifth place, the final qualifier for the Euro Basket. In this ranking, the most important news is Spain, which has never been so close to overtaking the United States.
The French, in turn, were threatened by Serbia, and Slovenia disappeared from the top five. However, the successes achieved between Milan and Berlin, were not enough for Italy to move from tenth place. Ranking as of September 18, 2022 (here is the full list):
