According to The New York Times, Isaac “Ike” Perlmutterthat was President and CEO from Marvel Entertainmentan entity separate from Marvel Studios, was Disney licensed. Perlmutter’s management of Marvel Entertainment has always been as well controversial, as the CEO recently tried and failed to shake up Disney’s board of directors. Perlmutter acquired Marvel Entertainment in the late 1990s and was the main architect of the $4 billion sale to Disney in 2009.
