Minister of Foreign Affairs of Andorra, Emma TorHe received an official visit from the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Donica Gervala Schwartz. The working meeting allowed the two countries to reaffirm the desire to strengthen bilateral relations and explore possible ways of cooperation in areas such as the economy, tourism and digital transformation. Specifically, during the media attention, Tor explained that the possibility of expanding cooperation between the two countries so that young Kosovar students could spend short stays in Andorra had been put on the table.
On the international scene, Tour showed his full support for Kosovo to become a full member of international bodies such as the Francophonie or the Council of Europe. Gervala Schwarz expressed her thanks for the welcome she received in Andorra and Andorra's support.
The Minister's visit is part of the existing bilateral relations between Andorra and Kosovo that began in 2011. In addition to the working meeting with Minister Tor, Gervala Schwarz also met with the Head of Government.
