Alfa Romeo I decided to celebrate 100 years of four leaf clover with Special limited edition series. So the automaker introduced a new one Giulia Centenary and Stelvio Quadrifoglio. Each model will be produced in just 100 units and will feature a series of exclusive items.
Important details should be highlighted. These models are based on the improved Giulia and Stelvio. Therefore, we will also find all the innovations introduced with the refinement of these two models starting with the new lighting groups directly inspired by those of the Tonale and equipped with Matrix Full LED technology, as well as the new 12.3-inch digital devices.
The special series of Giulia & Stelvio Quadrifoglio will be available in Etna Red, Montreal Green, and Vulcano Black colors. On the sides is the ceremonial emblem created to celebrate the Quadrifoglio’s centenary in which we find the gold color also used for the brake calipers. Then the carbon fiber visible on the mirror caps and grille stands out. Also included in the equipment for this special series are 19-inch 5-hole polished sporty alloy wheels for the Giulia and 21-inch for the Stelvio.
Inside the passenger compartment, in addition to the innovations introduced with the redesign of the Giulia and Stelvio, including the aforementioned new 12.3-inch digital instruments, we find black leather and Alcantara upholstery with gold contrast stitching. In addition, the carbon fiber finishes of the dashboard, center tunnel and door panels stand out.
On the dashboard there is a stitching of the number “100” next to a four-leaf clover. Instead, the steering wheel is covered in leather and Alcantara with black stitching and carbon fiber inserts. Speaking of technology, new graphics specific to this particular series are available for the new devices. The new ‘Racing’ design on the center display brings together the essential information every driver wants to control: tachometer, speedometer and gearshift light for manual driving. However, the layout is customizable.
As for the mechanics, Alfa Romeo has introduced an updated version of the 2.9 V6 engine which was his strength raised to 520 hp (Only in Europe, UK and China). This power unit is now combined with a mechanical self-locking differential, which, thanks to specific tuning, helps to improve vehicle control and traction. The gearbox is always an 8-speed automatic. As a benchmark, we also find a file Akrapovich exhaust system Which allows you to improve the sound of the engine.
Offers have not been announced and nothing has been said about pricing for this particular series. However, it seems clear that anyone who wants to fit one of these cars in their home garage should be prepared to shell out a decidedly higher sum than what it would take to buy a Quadrifoglio that’s currently on the list price. We remember that the current Giulia Quadrifoglio starts at less than 100,000 euros.
