The Catalan company Casa Tarradellas ended the 2023 financial year with a turnover of 1,378 million euros, a figure that represents an increase of 18% compared to 2022, a year in which it had already recorded an increase in sales of 8.15% and was subsequently qualified. as a record. On this occasion, the company attributed the increase mainly to the increase in final prices, that is, those paid by the consumer. Now the company maintains complete secrecy regarding its financial results.

In a statement released on Tuesday, Casa Tarradellas explained that in 2023 it invested 40.8 million euros in research, development and sustainability (an increase of 25.2% compared to 2022) and highlighted its bets on the integration of renewable energy which means, in its words, that “24.19% of its electricity consumption comes from solar energy”.

At the end of 2023, the group’s workforce reached 2,948 employees, representing a growth of 10%. Of the total, more than 90% are residents of the Osuna region, making the company “one of the cornerstones of the region’s social and economic structure”. Half of the employees are under 40, 56% of whom are women and 44% are men.

The company also confirms its leadership and consolidation “as a company at the forefront of the food sector in Spain”. He adds: “The continuous evolution of Casa Tarradellas has allowed it to be, once again, the most recognized food brand according to Iope Kantar and to be among the top 10 brands chosen by Spaniards, according to the Kantar Brand FootPrint ranking”.
