Machines are already turning the “Old Terrassa” into a 20th century reality.

The machines have finally entered the plot of Carrer Navas de Tolosa with Pare Font, in the 20th-century Terrassa neighbourhood. It was exactly one year ago that the real estate developer AELCA announced with a large poster that it would build the so-called “Antic Terrassa” on this large plot. Now, it has been replaced by a new announcement where you can read: “The work permit has been granted”, and the excavation work has already begun by the operators. The countdown has begun, yes, for the promotion that should offer a total of 38 new homes, with two or three rooms, distributed in a single building, and two flights of stairs. Under the residential building, on the ground floor, it is planned to leave space for two commercial buildings.

The transformation of the entire 20th Century neighborhood continues, little by little but without a point of return, especially in the area closest to the Montcada and Rubi avenues. In the last six months, multiple developments have started, some of which seem to be progressing at full speed – such as the Gasometer, where the Plaça del Gas is still months away from completion and awaiting its opening – and others that are moving more slowly but have a definite opening date – such as the Sala i Badrinas tablet. A few weeks ago, we were able to learn about the complete redevelopment project of the southern part of the Rubi avenue, within the same neighborhood and touching Valparaíso.

The developer explains that all properties will have a balcony with views, and five of them will have a balcony with different directions. The homes feature a “functional and modern design, with a variety of layouts and open or closed kitchens. In addition, they have a kitchen with high and low furniture already installed, with a glass ceramic hob, a telescopic hood and an electric oven. Future buyers will be able to choose between two different floors for the kitchen and bedrooms, as well as choose the materials for the kitchen cabinets and marble.

However, one of the things that will surely attract the most attention from those interested will be the community area, as it will feature a swimming pool and a solarium. To complete the services, the purchase of the house includes in the price a parking space – and there is expected to be the possibility of charging electric cars – and a storage room installed on the ground floor as well as in the basement.

Aelca has detailed the promotion on its website.Where you can see photos of what they will look like, learn about the materials that will be used, and check the prices of the houses based on the number of rooms and square meters. Prices for the properties range from €184,000 (apartments of 81 square meters with two bedrooms and one parking space) to €399,000 (a penthouse of 127 square meters, with three bedrooms and a parking space). There is an intermediate option of 99 square meters with three bedrooms and also two garages for €241,000.
