Mattia Zaccagni's renewal at Lazio has not taken off. The attacking winger of the national team, linked to the Biancocelesti club under an agreement valid until June 30, 2025, has been waiting for months from Lotito for an offer worthy of his demands, but so far the Biancocelesti club has not made any move – in words -. Against an offer of 2.5 million euros.

For Zaccagni, who currently earns just under $2 million per season, that's not a good enough offer. Felipe Anderson, the striker whose contract is expiring, has been offered a salary worth three million plus bonuses for a total annual salary of approx 3.5 million euros per season. It is almost the same amount demanded by Zaccagni, a striker who in the summer – without renewing his contract – could leave the Biancocelesti club with one year before the contract expires.

Zaccagni's entourage and Lazio's coaches also met in Munich on the sidelines of the Champions League match against Bayern. On that occasion, further reassurances arrived that the Capitol Club wanted to move forward with him and renew his contract, but the distance between supply and demand has now become noticeable and no significant steps forward have been recorded in recent months. At the window, many Italian clubs are monitoring the situation.
