The 17th edition of the Science Festival is dedicated to physical and mental explorations of the reality that surrounds us, to research that has led to great discoveries and changed the way we look at the world.

the event

Science is the expression of exploration and the result of exploration: Charles Darwin’s voyage on the Beagle, Albert Einstein’s thought experiments or the launch of Sputnik 1 are physical and mental explorations of the reality that surrounds us, that led to great scientific discoveries and transformed. The way we view the world.
The pandemic, climate change and environmental crises show how much we need a fresh look at current and new visions for the future. Thus, how much we need to explore, starting with what we know and opening up to what we don’t know. The Rome Science Festival is the perfect context for investigating many forms of exploration, because it brings together different people and disciplines, because it offers a rich variety of events, because it is a place and a space – in fact – to explore.
For this reason, the 17th edition of the Rome Science Festival will be dedicated to explorations, using that interdisciplinary and transversal approach that characterizes it.
