Yesterday, the Tibidabo amusement park opened Merli, the star attraction of the season, which allows you to experience a free fall from a height of 52 metres. The attraction – which looks like a magic wand stuck in the ground and lifted into the sky, hence its name – allows you to take control of Barcelona in a few seconds, making the 24 hours fall on the back of people who can take turns climbing the gondola that is launched into the void. The mayor of Barcelona, Jaume Colboni, was part of the installation’s first trip, along with other representatives of the council, such as veteran councillor Albert Batlle.
