Fatima is already preparing for the 28th edition of “Fàtima té Salsa” which will once again fill the neighborhood this Saturday with tapas, music and good atmosphere. Patricia Illa, Paris councillor, has been in charge of presenting an edition that brings energy and will count on the “Ca la Tieta” bar association and the organizations Confraria de Fátima and Associación Cultural Virgen del Rocío to prepare the tapas.

Illa encouraged everyone to participate in this party that “allows you to taste original and delicious tapas in a lively and festive atmosphere full of music: this year with a performance by Ronald Rosario, an orchestra and a DJ”.

The day will start with the 8th Tapas Competition for Children and Youth in which children and youth will have to cook tapas at the Fatima Civic Centre itself with the ingredients they find, and they will have one hour to cook them. From 10 to 11.30 am it will be the turn of the children’s group from grades 2 to 6 and from 12 noon to 1.30 pm it will be the turn of the youth group from grades 1 to 4. The prizes for the winners will be vouchers for school supplies.

In the adult competition, participants cook at home and then bring their tapas to the Fatima Civic Centre from 12.30pm to 1.30pm. The prizes for the famous adult tapas competition are: 1st prize: 100 euros and a tapas lunch at the “Reverso” bar; 2nd prize: 60 euros and a voucher for a set from the “El Rincon” bar and 3rd prize: 40 euros and a voucher for the “Ca l’Angelillo” bakery.
