Who can deposit money?
First, it’s important to know that both BBVA customers and non-BBVA customers can make deposits at ATMs. However, the terms vary slightly depending on whether or not you have an account with BBVA.

Requirements for customers
If you are a BBVA customer, you will need your BBVA credit or debit card, or your access credentials (username and password) for bbva.es or the BBVA app. When everything is ready, follow these steps:
- Insert your card into the cashier and select the “Deposit Funds” option.
- Identify yourself using your PIN.
- Choose the destination account for the deposit, which can be one of your accounts or someone else’s.
- Enter the concept and the beneficiary of the income.
- Insert bills into the corresponding slot. Please note that coins and banknotes with clips or in envelopes are not accepted.
- Check the amount of funds shown on the screen and confirm the deposit.

Requirements for non-customers
If you are not a BBVA customer, you can also deposit funds, although there are some restrictions:
- At the cashier, select the “Cardless Access/Passbook” option.
- Choose the option to deposit to your BBVA account.
- Enter the necessary details and follow the instructions to deposit tickets.
- Non-clients can deposit a maximum of €1,000 per account per day without requiring additional proof of identity.
