Matt and Ross Dover (for friends of the Duffer Brothers), directors, screenwriters, and producers of Strangers Things created the new company, Upside Down Pictures, and entered into agreements with Netflix for various projects. Upside Down Pictures’ upcoming projects also include an original series by Jeffrey Addiss and Will Mathews (Dark Crystal – The Resistance), a small-screen adaptation of the novel. “incantation” Written by Stephen King and Peter Straub from 1984 to be made by the Duffers along with Steven Spielberg’s Amblin Entertainment and Paramount Television, as well as the previously announced Stranger Things show.
