Starfield: New Trailer Introducing Comrade Vasco in Video

Today, Bethesda released a new trailer for Starfield. The protagonist of the film is the head of project graphics at Bethesda Game Studios, Istvan Pely, who introduced us to the first companion who will support the player in the space RPG: Vasco.

Vasco is defined as one of Companion Which the development team loves so much. It’s the Constellation Explorer robot, which underwent several changes during development, as evidenced by some of the preliminary sketches shown in the trailer. It’s a heavy-duty, functional industrial robot that doesn’t fear the rigors of space travel.

The the designPely reveals that it is based on a standard two-footed Type A tire and this allows it to traverse rough terrain while carrying all the supplies and materials needed to survive long trips by road. The video highlights his bag and some of the accessories he carries, as well as his weapons, which can come in handy when you need to defend yourself from an attack. However, their nature remains mostly peaceful. The colors are the constellation red and white, but the model seen in the video shows some scratches.

Vasco had already appeared with a small inscription in the video “In the Starfield Part 2” about the universe created by Bethesda, but now we know more about this companion, whose name is a clear reference to the Portuguese explorer Vasco da Gama. Bethesda itself is not new to introducing robot companions into its games: the latest is Codsworth, butler bots that can be recruited in Fallout 4. Waiting Starfield release date, set November 11, 2022 on Xbox Series X | S and PC, let us know in the comments below what you think of Vasco and which of your bot buddies you’ve come up with the most so far.
