The role played by images in scientific knowledge will be studied and researched. The exhibition is divided into two parts: the universe from the microcosm to the macrocosm – with some extraordinary images ranging from elusive elementary particles to cosmic scales – and the complexity of the human body , from the secrets of individual cells to the most advanced biomedical imaging techniques.

The exhibition will be open to the public from 3:30 pm until 6:30 pm. On Friday at 9pm, a meeting entitled “Look away, even gravity plays” is scheduled with Davide Maino from the Department of Physics at the University of Milan. “Science in Seveso – says Fabrizio Picarolo, Director of the Lombardy Environment Foundation – represents a fundamental stage in our educational and training activity, which certainly looks to schools and younger generations, but also to all citizens and compatriots interested in the issues we promote.”
