Of course, I’m sorry, but I’m not going to be a better athlete and a gold medalist: so I’m happy,” says Errigo, mother of twins.
Alice Volpe took 4th place in the individual foil competition.In the bronze medal final, the Italian lost to Canada’s Eleanor Harvey 15-12. There is a big disappointment for Italy, which started with Volpi, Arianna Errigo and Martina Favaretto (the latter two were eliminated in the quarter-finals) among the favorites for the medal.
