Domodossola – 25 – 02 – 2023 – “Between school and science. Let’s meet the future!” is the title of a cycle of six meetings that will start next Monday and end at the end of April. They are promoted by two schools in the Ossola region: The Institute of Ismaili Studies “Marconi Galletti Einaudi” and the Scientific High School “Giorgio Spezia”, which they offer in two versions. The spectators in the morning will be the students of the two schools, in the Great Hall of the Marconi Galletti Einaudi, at Via Matilde Ceretti 23 in Domodossola; However, the afternoon meetings will be open to all and will take place in the Sala Falcioni, Mellerio’s former church. The exception will be the first appointment, on Monday 27 February, which will also take place in the school building in Via Ceretti and will see rotating speakers: from 5.30 to 6 pm Federico Trolletti, Curator of the Civic Museums of Domodossola, will speak before the theme of the relationship between art and science in history while From 6 to 7 p.m., Davide Rufina, researcher at IEO “Monzino” in Milan, will explain studies on the use of stem cells to treat muscular dystrophy. Subsequent meetings are scheduled for 9, 17 and 31 March and 18 and 27 April, again at Sala Falcioni from 17:30 to 19.
