BarcelonaThe Mossos d’Esquadra are investigating the violent deaths of three people in Valles Occidental. As confirmed to ARA by the Catalan police, the agents found two dead women and a man who were said to be related to each other. Sources from the Court of Justice of Catalonia (TSJC) explained that the two women were the partner and ex-partner of the man, who allegedly assaulted them with a firearm and then committed suicide. The Mossos family recalled that there were two crime scenes: a man and a woman were found dead in Castellbisbal, while the third victim, a woman, was found in Rubi.
The Honorary Judge of Instruction No. 6 of Rubi on duty is already investigating the events as a case of male violence and at this time the judicial entourage is exercising the removal of bodies. The Supreme Court’s Judicial Commission points out that neither of the two women appears in the system as a previous victim of violence against women and therefore has not previously convicted the alleged perpetrator, who, according to journalist Ana Ponce, would be a police commissioner. National Police 65 years old retired.
The mayor of Rubí, Ana María Martínez, expressed her regret for the events, describing them as a sexist murder, and announced that a femicide protocol with three days of mourning would be activated in the city. Through the social network X, Martínez asked to stop this cycle against women: “These are terrible and intolerable acts that must be contemplated as a society.”
Sources close to the case said the victim found in Ruby was a 60-year-old woman who had been shot in the neck, causing her to go into cardiac arrest and eventually die.
The Catalan police received the warning at 12:15 a.m. and moved to the scene.
