Long weekend in Città della Scienza dedicated to protecting the events of planet Earth in Naples

During the long weekend of April 23-25 at Città della Scienza we celebrate the Earth!

Born out of a university movement on April 22, 1970, to emphasize the need to conserve natural resources, Earth Day has – over time – become a global educational and informational event. Città della Scienza joins the global celebration of the blue planet, including exciting and informative activities, workshops and scientific presentations for the public, to discover the beauty but at the same time the fragility of the globe.

For ‘Planet Earth’, two interactive laboratories have been planned in collaboration with Giotto Official Color for Città della Scienza’s educational activities that combine science experiments, creativity and colour. And again: activities related to biodegradable plastics and many more “samples” of science will take place.

Finally, for the review “A Pediatrician in the Museum” in collaboration with FIMP – Italian Federation of Pediatricians on Saturday 23 April, Dr. Stefania Russo during the meeting entitled “Let’s save the planet and protect the future of our children” will raise awareness among young visitors about the key rules beneficial to becoming responsible citizens . The column includes a monthly date until the end of the year on issues of concern to families such as foreign deconfinement or child safety in cars.

As usual, it will be possible to make guided visits to the Interactive Museum of the Human Body, the Insects & Co Gallery, and many other new exhibition tracks and to attend the exceptional displays of the Planetarium.
