The price of olive oil has begun to fall in Mercadona.
Since the VAT reduction on July 1, olive oil has seen its price fall. In fact, currently, major supermarkets are struggling to get the best prices for customers.

It didn’t take long for Mercadona to adjust its prices, implementing the discount directly on its olive oil. All varieties of this product, from extra virgin to the milder types, can now be obtained more economically.
New price for Mercadona Extra Virgin Olive Oil
One of Mercadona’s most popular oils is Hacienda Extra Virgin Oil. This is a product known for its excellent quality. Now, it is also praised for its low prices.
Before the VAT reduction, a 1-litre bottle cost €9.90. With the VAT reduction, it can now be had for €9.19.

The 750 ml bottle of Gran Selecció extra virgin olive oil has also undergone changes. In this way, when it cost €8.10, it can now be purchased for €7.71.
Other olive oils from Mercadona at a lower price
On the other hand, extra virgin olive oil is not the only olive oil that has seen its price drop. Mercadona has several other types of oils that have also seen discounts this month:
- 1 liter of Hacienda olive oil: before 8 euros, now 7.62 euros.
- Hacienda Extra Virgin Olive Oil 1L: before 8.95€, now 8.52€.
- Hacienda Extra Virgin Olive Oil 3L: Before 26.30, now 25.05.
- Hacienda Light and Condensed Olive Oil 3L: before €23.90, now €22.76.
