Lecce struggle but eventually win against newly promoted Mantova. The Salento side went into half-time ahead through Gaspar, but Bragantini joined them in the second half, scoring a temporary equaliser for the visitors. In the last 20 minutes, Dia made sure to bring the score back to 2-2, forcing his team to go to penalties. Nagy’s mistake from the penalty spot was decisive, and Salernitana will face Udinese in the next round of the Coppa Italia.
