The common balance of the Bianconeri these days between the Euro 2024 qualifiers, friendlies and youth teams
Joseph Nong Boende – Belgium U18
He recently debuted with Next Generation. With Belgium U18 he has taken the field in all three friendlies played in Croatia (Medulin): the last half hour of the draw (2-2) with Switzerland, the first hour of play in the 3-0 draw with England and the second half against Croatia (another Belgian win 3-0).
Samuel Mbangula – Belgium U19
He played all three of his national team’s matches – against Slovenia, Germany and Italy – in the elite stage of qualifying for the European Championship. Three draws (0-0, 1-1, 2-2) for Belgium U19, who failed to achieve their goal of finishing third in the group.
Lorenzo Delaval and Luis Hasa – Italy U19
In contrast to Belgium in Mbangola, Italy, led by Pollini, finished the group in first place and secured qualification for the final stage of the European Championship scheduled in Malta from 3 to 16 July. Al-Ahsa played 90 minutes in the first match (3-2) against Germany and 28 minutes against Slovenia (0-0) before he was replaced by a muscle strain that forced him to sit out against Belgium (2-2). Delaval 180′: rested in the first match on the pitch against Slovenia and Belgium throughout the match
Jonas Rouhi – Sweden U19
The left-back of Monteiro Primavera took part in the qualification for the elite stage of the European Under-19 Championship: he went on the field in Vizela (Portugal)
Kenan Yildiz – Türkiye U21
First goal with Turkey U21 and a great performance for the 2005 Black and Whites: In Alanya he played the first 45 minutes of the friendly against Kosovo, just enough to help direct the match (final score 4-2). The goal was scored 3-1 in the 42nd minute of the first half
Samuel Iling Jr – England U20
The protagonist with the England under-20 national team, with whom he will take part in the World Cup in Indonesia (from May 20). They prepared for a friendly match against Germany (2-0), started also against the United States and on the field for only 11 minutes against France. Total 160 minutes played in three matches
Niccolo Fagioli – Italy U21
Impressive performance by Granillo in his Reggio Calabria on the occasion of the friendly match against Ukraine: an assist from Lovato and another from a free kick (from a narrow angle). He played the whole match while being rested against Serbia by coach Nicolato
Leonardo Bonucci – Italy
Despite being called up, the captain’s blue did not feature in the match against England. He returned the next day to Turin as he was not available for the flight to Malta
Gleeson Bremer – Brazil
Coach Menezes called him up after McInhos was injured, and watched Brazil’s 2-1 defeat by Morocco in Tangiers from the bench.
Adrien Rabiot – France
This may be the best season of his career. For Deschamps, he is as irreplaceable as Allegri: 88 minutes on the field against the Netherlands (4-0 win) and 80 minutes against Ireland (1-0 away win)
Philip Kostec – Serbia
He expected to return to Turin due to Achilles tendinitis and therefore missed the match against Montenegro. He still managed to impress his signing, with a help, by flicking the ball to Tadic to make it 1-0 against Lithuania.
Dusan Vlahović – Serbia
Return to Turin invigorated. Three goals in two matches, two victories for Serbia, the leaders of its group: his goal 2-0 against Lithuania (3 62 minutes on the field), his brace – as a substitute at the start of the second half – that decided the match. Against Montenegro to Podgorica
Wojciech Szczesny – POLAND
Malik has been in both outings for the Polish national team. Szczesny defended the Polish goalposts in the 3-1 defeat to the Czech Republic, and the 1-0 success against Albania in Warsaw.
Di Maria – Argentina
Starting in the first friendly match against Panama (he came out in the 60th minute), which was decided by Almada and Messi goals, then he participated in Argentina’s celebration of the goal (7-0) against Curacao, and he scored a penalty kick 6-0 after entering the stadium in the 68th minute
Paredes – Argentina
The Juventus midfielder, who came on in the 60th minute of the match against Panama in place of Enzo Fernandez, remained on the bench for the duration of the second match, which saw him win 7-0 against Curacao.
