Last April, Samsung introduced Galaxy Enhance-X, its AI-powered photo editing app, available on the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, and Galaxy S23 Ultra, announcing plans to expand compatibility with the Galaxy S22 soon. Galaxy S22 Plus, Galaxy S22 Ultra, and in the Galaxy Z Fold 4. Last May, it was announced that development was “nearing completion.” At these hours, the app is also available on the Galaxy Store for these and other smartphones.
Galaxy Enhance-X, which was launched in July last year, was initially made available only for the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 + and Galaxy S22 Ultra phones, exclusively in some countries and without support for Android 13. Only later did the app also become compatible with Galaxy S23 range. Now, finally, it has also arrived on the Galaxy Z Fold 4, Galaxy Z Fold 3, on the Galaxy Z Flip 4, on all Galaxy S21s and could soon arrive on other devices of the Korean company.
Powerful photo editing application
One of the main features of the Galaxy Enhance-X app is “Magic” button, which automatically corrects common defects in photos, such as blur, loss of detail, and noise. This tool is similar to the photo retouching option available in the default gallery of Galaxy smartphones and tablets.
In addition, the application provides many other editing options, including brightness adjustment, face retouching, blur correction, lens distortion correction, moiré correction, HDR, portrait, glare removal, shadows, and sharpening improvement.
Obviously, once the correction is made, users can also undo or redo the editing actions within the app itself and can export the modified images to the gallery or to other apps installed on their device.
