Dugin’s daughter died, Putin’s theorist: the car exploded while traveling, a possible attack. “They were together, he changed his car at the last minute”

Daria Dugina, 30, a political commentator and daughter of Oleksandr Dugin – considered the “Putin theorist” – died after her car exploded on the outskirts of Moscow. The accident occurred around 9:45 pm local time on Saturday near the village of Veliky Vyazumi, about 20 kilometers west of the Russian capital. According to preliminary information, the woman was driving a Toyota Land Cruiser Prado owned by her father and there were no other passengers on board. The Russian authorities have opened a criminal case for murder related to the car bombing with journalist and political expert Daria Dugina on board in the Moscow region. Russian agencies report that, quoting the investigation committee, which assumes the presence of an “improvised explosive device” placed on the car. The report of the investigators reported by RIA Novosti reads that “a bomb was going to go off, after which the sports car caught fire.”

After the explosion, some witnesses said, the car flipped and ran off the road. The victim’s charred (and unrecognizable) body was retrieved by rescuers who arrived immediately. In some of the videos – posted online – we see a desperate Dugin with his hands in his hair, just a few meters from the burning car. At the moment, the most likely hypothesis is that it was an attack: according to some sources, Dugin himself took part in a conference on “Tradition and History” near Moscow in the evening (which Daria Dugina also attended as a guest) – he was supposed to be in the car with his daughter , the TV commentator, but eventually decided to travel in another car. Oleksandr Dugin, adviser to many politicians, is a Russian philosopher known for his anti-Western, far-right and neo-Eurasian views.

In recent years, the Western media has described him as one of the inspirers of Vladimir Putin’s foreign policy, while the Russian press considers him a “marginal figure” because his views “are considered too radical even by nationalists.” In 2014 – according to Russia Today reports – he was expelled from Moscow State University after pleading to “kill, kill, kill” Ukrainians.

According to the leader of the pro-Russian Donetsk People’s Republic, Denis Pushlin, there are “terrorists from the Ukrainian regime” behind the murder of Daria. According to Pushlin, according to RIA Novosti, the father was the target of the attack. «The terrorists of the Ukrainian regime, who tried to eliminate Alexander Dugin, blew up his daughter … in the car. Happy memory of Daria, she is a real Russian girl ”, wrote Pushlin on her Telegram channel.
