New momentum for business financing. CaixaBank President, José Ignacio Goeregolzarri, and Chief Executive Officer, Antonio Garamendi, have renewed their cooperation agreement with the aim of supporting the growth and modernization of Spanish companies. The agreement provides for a financing line of up to 40,000 million euros (14% more than last year) aimed at providing an effective response to the financing needs of companies, helping them expand in national and international markets and developing innovative and sustainable projects.
The two sides agreed to prioritize financing projects that involve improvements in sustainability, recognizing the environmental and energy challenges facing society and “the important role played by the business sector.” Through this understanding, it was also agreed to promote dual vocational training with the aim of increasing the social value of employability, especially among young people, improving competitiveness and transforming the economic and social system.
