Yesterday represented an important day in the D-League season, in that it was the first day that NBA teams were able to sign D-Leaguers to ten-day ‘call up’ contracts. This is the shot that many (if not all) D-leaguers are hoping to get a shot with the Association. The Red Claws are affiliated by the Boston Celtics, which will give Walker his best opportunity so far to impress.
