The Dallas Mavericks rolled the dice yesterday by signing Chandler Parsons, a restricted free-agent, to a three-year, $46 million contract. While there is a strong chance that the Rockets match the contract and keep him in Houston, the Mavericks’ timing couldn’t have been better. The Rockets are currently waiting on Chris Bosh to decide whether or not he will sign a max contract with them, and if he does, Daryl Morey will have to shed a lot of money to make it fit under the cap; a task that will be made much harder with Parsons garnering that sort of money.
While both the Mavericks and Parsons will have to play the waiting game now — the Rockets will have three days to decide if they want to match the contract once the Mavericks submit the offer — it didn’t stop them from having one night of fun together, as Parsons and Mark Cuban were seen celebrating the occasion by partying it up in an Orlando nightclub.

Parsons also signed his new contract right then and there, because why the hell not?
All in all, it sounds like he had a pretty good night.
Extremely humbled! One night of fun and back to work. THANK YOU to everyone who has helped me! I am blessed.
