While the Miami Heat, Indiana Pacers, San Antonio Spurs and Oklahoma City Thunder are in the throes of the Eastern and Western Conference Finals, the rest of the NBA is already in off-season mode. Most players use this opportunity for a little rest and relaxation but not Washington Wizards reserve forward, Martell Webster. Webster took advantage of his new free time by getting a part time job as an Ice Cream Crafter at Washington D.C.’s Nicecream Factory.

Webster signed a four-year, $22 million deal with the Wizards last summer but the the fourth year is partially guaranteed so he must be planning for this by working as a part-time Ice Cream Crafter now. If the Wizards don’t guarantee his contract in 2017, Webster, pending manager approval, could then increase his hours at Nicecream. Don’t laugh at Webster’s role at Nicecream, according to their website, an Ice Cream Crafter is a very vital job:

Ice Cream Crafters are truly the face of Nicecream. They are an important part of our customers’ experience and are the experts in handcrafting deliciously perfect desserts; all the while creating memorable moments for every person that walks in the door. Ice Cream Crafters change the way we eat dessert.

Webster seems very happy working as an Ice Cream Crafter:

Kudos to you Martell, not everyone can get paid for something they love to do.
