Shane Battier Made A Heatles Poster To Raise Money For His Charity

Shane Battier’s annual karaoke fundraiser, Battioke, has amused us with hilarious photos and videos since the event’s inception. To thank his Miami Heat teammates for “singing” to raise money for his Take Charge Foundation, Battier gave out a Heatles themed poster to each of them:

In case you forgot, LeBron James gave the Heat this nickname back in 2011:

The Heat is referring to itself as the “Heatles” — as in the Beatles — these days because of the large crowds it receives on the road, said James. “I see we sell out 99.1 percent on the road, so we call ourselves the Heatles off the Beatles, so every time we take our show on the road we bring a great crowd,” James said. The obvious question: So who’s Paul McCartney and who’s John Lennon? “I knew that was going to be a question,” James said. “We’re just the Heatles, man.”

Battier is now selling this poster to the general public for a hundred dollars at the Take Charge Foundation’s website:

Custom designed Custom designed one-of-a-kind Heatles poster of your favorite Miami Heat players. Artwork is unique and is exclusive only to The Battier Take Charge Foundation

A hundred dollars is a quite a bit for a photoshopped poster that doesn’t include all of the members of the Heat, but know that your money is going to a great cause as Battier’s Take Charge Foundation helps to “encourage and inspire a new generation of potential leaders through educational opportunities and the cultivation of effective leadership skills.”
