Kevin Durant, MVP: A Poem

A long time coming for the man KD,

Now he can finally be called MVP.

An emotional presser, thanking the team,

Glistening on his cheeks, the tears they streamed.

Russ, Serge Ibaka, even Perkins cracked a smile,

Nothing seemed forced; that’s just KD’s style.

Thirty-two points, is what he averaged a night,

Lighting up the scoreboard with numbers so bright.

MVP and give him that scoring title too

Now winning a title’s all he has to do.

This year it’ll be tough, down one-oh to the Clips,

Home advantage has, already been flipped.

But the Thunder can turn it around; they got KD.

Congrats, Mr. Durant, you’re the MVP.
