Clippers Turn Warm-Ups Inside-Out

With the most recent and public display of his racist beliefs, the tide is finally turning on one of the worst people in North American sports, Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling.

There was much discussion–both inside the Clippers’ locker room and among the media–about what the players’ response would be as they prepared for their important game against the Warriors this afternoon.

Just minutes ago, the Clippers made their way out to the court for pre-game warm-ups, and made a subtle, but powerful statement. They removed their jackets that feature “Clippers” on the front and donned blank red shirts.

This was a very cool move by the players. It was a simple way to show they will not stand for Sterling’s statements, but at the same time will not allow him to prevent them from doing what they love–playing basketball.
