Over the weekend, Masai Ujiri made his feelings well known as he yelled “F*** Brooklyn” during a fan rally before Game 1 of the Raptors-Nets series.
The statement caused a bit of controversy, but it wasn’t really too big of a deal. It wasn’t very professional, but it certainly wasn’t the end of the world. And it appeared the NBA agreed, and was willing to LET IT GOOO, LET IT GOOOOOOO. Tonight, however, we learned that Ujiri has been fined $25,000 for the comment.
NBA has fined Masai Ujiri $25,000 for his “f*** Brooklyn” remark.
