Apparently, Corey Brewer never got the memo – Ty Lawson is quick.
With under two minutes left in the fourth quarter in Monday night’s matchup between the Minnesota Timberwolves and Denver Nuggets, Lawson had the ball at the top of the key. Guarded by Brewer, the point guard drove toward the paint, hesitated, crossed-over and forced Brewer to fall to the ground.
Lawson finished with 31 points, eleven assists and four steals while Brewer scored 16 points on 6-of-10 shooting. The Wolves defeated the Nuggets 132-128.
Oh, and Brewer may want to think about getting those ankle checked. Lawson broke ‘em.
