Happy Valentine’s Day! From, Everyone In the NBA

Every year for players and fans alike, the Valentine’s Day and All-Star Weekend are intertwined. I mean, is there anything more romantic than watching Tim Hardaway Jr. and Dion Waiters battle it out one-on-one in the middle of the Rising Stars Challenge or feasting your eyes on Andre Drummond putting up 30 points and 25 rebounds en route to winning MVP?

While you and your MVP might have been cozying up to this weekend’s festivities in New Orleans, you may have missed how some other NBA players were spending the most romantic day of the year on social media.

Brandon Jennings is currently on a little vacation in L.A. and when he woke up on Friday morning, he tweeted out a picture of his sunny view overlooking a swimming pool, with the caption, “Gmorning. Happy Valentines day to myself.” Over the next couple of hours, he retweeted quite a few women wishing him a Happy Valentine’s Day and responded to their messages with this:

As the day wore on, he kept updated us of his whereabouts, posting a picture of himself on a jet ski and dancing along to one of Brandy’s old jams. What a smooth operator.

Next up: Kosta Koufos. He’s spending his weekend in Miami with his lady friend and she surprised him with this cool gift:

Here’s Nick Young wishing us all a Happy Valentine’s Day. I know! The best gift you could’ve ever asked for!

I have no idea what Kris Humphries was doing, but he did keep his message brief.

This was Shane Larkin’s first Valentine’s Day as a pro and he took advantage of it by asking all his 40,600 followers if they’d be willing to send him something from Edible Arrangements. No word on whether or not his biggest fan, Jared Dubin, took him up on the offer.

Then we have Kevin Love. In his press conference yesterday, he said that he doesn’t love Valentine’s Day because he is, “jinxed,” and his go-to movie on the special day is usually Saw. You know, that horror film when someone has to saw their leg off in order to try and survive. Yeah…it’s not romantic at all. In fact, it’s really dark and depressing. I don’t know what this says about Kevin Love.

And to cap it all off is Xavier Henry, who’s dog woke him up to a nice little surprise.

That’s, uhhhh, not fun.

Happy Day After Valentine’s Day, everyone!
