ICYMI: Suggested Basketball Reading From Across the Web

Last night we saw the league’s second longest win streak snapped, as the Toronto Raptors fell – after putting up a valiant effort – to the Miami Heat. The Golden State Warriors, however, kept the league’s longest winning streak going as they defeated the Washington Wizards for their ninth win in a row. We also saw the Indiana Pacers hold off the Cleveland Cavaliers to pick up a win and keep their one and a half game lead on the Heat for the first seed in the East. As for tonight, there are just three games on the schedule. Until then, take some time to do a little reading with today’s suggested basketball readings from across the web while you are hiding from the cold.

Once expected to be the number one overall pick, Shabazz Muhammad struggled a bit at the college level and fell to the middle of the draft and the Minnesota Timberwolves. Struggling to get off the bench in these first few months, the team has opted to send him to the D-League to get playing time. Over at Hardwood Paroxysm, Derek James wrote about why that’s a good thing.
