Wow, what a match-up. The 18-11 Phoenix Suns, who hold the 6th seed in the Western Conference and have arguably been the most surprising team in the NBA, will travel to Staples Center to take on the 21-11 Los Angeles Clippers, who themselves hold the 4th seed in the West.
These are two teams with incredible, exciting, young, and athletic offenses.
Chris Paul vs. Eric Bledsoe, Marcus and Markieff Morris vs. Blake Griffin, Miles Plumlee vs. DeAndre Jordan; what could get more exciting than this?
The match-up I’m looking forward to the most though is Paul vs. Bledsoe. Paul comes in averaging 19.9 PPG, 11.4 APG, and 4.7 RPG, and Bledsoe comes in averaging 18.4 PPG, 5.9 APG, and 4.3 RPG. CP3 is putting up another MVP-caliber season, and Bledsoe is the leading candidate for Most Improved Player.
Alex Len will be out for the Suns again, still battling soreness in his ankle.
For the Clippers, J.J. Redick (wrist) and Reggie Bullock (ankle) will be sidelined.
This is going to come down to the final minutes of the game, and should be a high scoring one, but I got the Clippers pulling away with the victory. The Clips are 13-2 at home, and have a phenomenal star in Chris Paul.
