The first All-Star ballot of the season leaves no surprises, as LeBron James and Kevin Durant are the top vote-getters in their respective conferences. James’ 609,336 votes leads all players, just under 2,000 more than the second place Durant (607,407).

In the Eastern Conference, reigning Most Improved Player Paul George received the second most votes behind James with 489,335. The Knicks’ Carmelo Anthony, Dwyane Wade of the Heat and Kyrie Irving of the Cavaliers round out the top 5 for the conference.

In the Western Conference, Kobe Bryant was second to Durant in votes with 501,215, despite only playing in 2 games so far this season. The rest of the top 5 was rounded out by the Rockets’ Dwight Howard and Clippers’ stars Chris Paul and Blake Griffin.
