Once again, it’s Brandon Jennings who takes the award for Pass of the Night. Very recently, he was featured for his passing against the Philadelphia 76ers. Today, it was for his nice feed against the Milwaukee Bucks.
Last night, the Detroit Pistons made the short journey west to Milwaukee to take on the Bucks. While things haven’t been going so great for the Pistons, they can be thankful they aren’t the Bucks, who after last night officially hold the worst record in the league at 3-15.
The Pistons added to the misery by taking home a 105-98 victory. Brandon Jennings, Andre Drummond and Greg Monroe all put up double-doubles to lead the way. Jennings finished with 17 points and 11 assists, his second time with double-digit assist totals in his last three outings.
His assist to Greg Monroe in the middle of the 3rd quarter was the one that earned him another appearance on Pass of the Night.
After poking the ball away from Ersan Ilyasova, Josh Smith corralled the loose ball and started the fastbreak. Trailing behind him were Jennings and Monroe, and Smith found Jennings with a pass across the lane. Jennings, however, felt the footsteps of the oncoming Ilyasova, and instead of trying to get a shot off, decided to feed Monroe instead. He dropped a nifty little pass over his head to the trailing Monroe, who slammed the ball home for two.
