It’s good to be the king. Mel Brooks taught us that in the French Revolution section of History of the World: Part I, and LeBron James is living the mantra to the fullest. When you’re the king, you get to do whatever you want to do; right now, LeBron just wants to rock out in his car to Que’s “O.G. Bobby Johnson.” And the video of him doing so is guaranteed to put a smile on your face.
That, my friends, is a champion who’s comfortable in his own skin. Look at how damned goofy he’s being! Even he knows it, as he can’t help but self-consciously giggle at his antics. And holy goodness gracious, that’s some bass pumping out of the sound system in his vehicle.
I’ve watched this video a dozen times already, and I still lose it every time LeBron drops his “UNH” right into the camera. Keep being you, LeBron. For the sake of all of us, keep being you. All I ask is that sometime in the near future, we get a video of Birdman rocking out to some Swedish death metal. Birdman probably listens to Swedish death metal, right?
