The NBA took a break yesterday, deciding not to challenge the NFL for ratings and attention. As much as I love the NBA, it was nice to have a little break. But that respite doesn’t last long, as we get right back into the swing of things with 13 games set to go this evening. Not a lot of enticing match-ups, but we do get Golden State vs. Oklahoma City. Hopefully they can provide a repeat of the brilliance we saw the last time these two met. But here at Saving the Skyhook, we don’t take breaks, we just break records. Last year, as we all remember, the Denver Nuggets were upset in the first round of the playoffs by the Golden State Warriors. During the series, as you may not remember, there were some complaints from the Warriors’ camp that the Nuggets were playing dirty. Well in a recent interview, former Nuggets coach George Karl claims that Andre Iguodala – who joined the Warriors in the summer – was tipping off the Warriors on the Nuggets’ covert actions.
