Not too long ago, the Portland Trail Blazers secured a 113-101 victory over the Golden State Warriors. They dominated the 4th quarter to pick up an impressive road victory and move to 12-2 on the young season.
Leading the way was a monster performance from LaMarcus Aldridge, who dropped 30 points and grabbed 21 rebounds. Damian Lillard and Wes Matthews also each scored 20 or more points.
Matthews did his damage in just 26 minutes, the result of getting ejected late in the 3rd quarter. The disqualification happened in the aftermath of a scrum between the two sides that began with Joel Freeland and Andrew Bogut getting tangled up under the basket.
The scuffle between the two sides turned out not to be the only exciting moment of the game; Nic Batum made sure of that.
Late in the 4th quarter, the Frenchman put the exclamation point on the Blazers’ victory, throwing down a mean dunk on Steph Curry.
