LeBron James continues to prove, almost on a nightly basis why is he considered the best basketball player on the planet. On Saturday night, he hit a game-winning jumper to give the Miami Heat a 101-99 victory over the Orlando Magic.
James received the ball at the top of the key with 23 ticks left on the clock in the fourth quarter. After sizing up Arron Afflalo for approximately five seconds, James took one dribble to left, before stepping back and knocking down the jumper in the face of Afflalo to give his team a two-point advantage. The Magic, however, had 15 seconds to either tie or win the game. Yet, after two failed attempts it was the Heat that had prevailed.
King James finished with 22 points on 7-of-13 shooting, grabbing nine rebounds and dishing out seven assists as well.
The win stretched Miami’s winning streak to six, improving their record to 10-3 on the season.
